As I hiked through knee-deep powder in the peaceful woods, I couldn’t help but smile at the beautiful journey I was experiencing. People always ask me what it is like to be out on True North Adventures retreats, and all I can say is “MAGIC.” Between the beautiful outdoor playgrounds and engaging physical challenge comes this sweet spot of grace where you suddenly see the adventure of your life from a whole new perspective.
Our “Align and Shine” retreat was built on the foundational understanding that creating an action oriented plan for the year ahead based on all of the things we need to “do” to be happy will inevitably leave you feeling exhausted, disconnected and chasing that insatiable carrot in the same old ways, thinking “it’s bound to produce different results this time!” Having experienced this less-than-helpful scenario many times in our own lives, we were excited to offer a much more effective and JOY-FILLED APPROACH to the 13 ladies joining us on this adventure.
What if you were to attune to the WISDOM deep inside of your heart… that playful SPARKLE that guides us home to the essence of who we are? What if you were to start there, awakening to how you would like to “BE” in the year ahead? In your relationships (including the one with yourself!), in your work, in your play? Although this is often uncharted territory, this unfamiliar source is a wealth of creativity, enthusiasm and PURPOSEFUL DIRECTION.
In weaving this theme through our snowshoe adventures, workshops and everything in between, we created a beautiful opportunity for everyone to look inside, reconnect and re-align with their authenticity; and from this place, co-create an INSPIRED VISION of their best year ever.
We have no way of knowing how far reaching the results of our actions can be, but when they are born from the wellspring of creativity and CONSCIOUS ENGAGEMENT within our hearts, we can be certain they will awaken opportunities we have only dreamed of before. By tapping into our own True North we’ll inevitably be guided to take clear steps forward in service to the highest good of all concerned.
